The comparator compares the inputs to the + and - terminals on its left side. When the + input exceeds the - input, the comparator's state is true. When the + input is less than the - input, the comparator's state is false.
Hysteresis
When the comparator's state is low, the + input must exceed the - input plus the hysteresis value before the module's state changes to high.
When the comparator's state is high, the + input must fall to the - input minus the hysteresis value to change the state to low.
Inversion
If Non-inverting is selected, the comparator works as described above. If Inverting is selected, the conditions that normally produce high output, produce low output, and the conditions that normally produce low output, produce high output.
